Lukululu Reserve
Lukululu Reserve
Grown in the highlands of Lukululu, a hillside community in the Mbozi region of southern Tanzania, this rare peaberry lot offers a vibrant, sweet cup with exceptional clarity.
Expect crisp citrus, layered fruit, and floral brightness. Notes of yuzu, green grape, juicy orange, and floral lime are rounded by a honeyed body and soft baking spice, creating a syrupy, tea-like profile that shines in pour-over.
Origin Story
Origin Story
Lukulu is a small, farmer-run cooperative near Lukululu village in southern Tanzania. Sourcing Bourbon-type coffee from farms under 2 hectares at 1500–1700 masl, the co-op uses traditional fully washed processing with a hand-crank depulper. Ripe cherries are floated, fermented for 1–2 days, washed, and dried on raised beds for about two weeks. Lukulu supports its members with agronomic training and aims to reinvest in better processing equipment.
